LIVE TV SHOW – UEFA UNDER 21 FINAL DRAW

UEFA AND FIGC CHOOSE FREE EVENT TO PRODUCE THE UNDER 21 OFFICIAL DRAW TV BROADCAST AND LIVE EVENT

In 2019, international football is coming back to Italy. The final rounds of the Euro Under 21 will start in June, organized by UEFA and FIGC, between Emilia Romagna, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. In keeping with tradition, the time has come for the draw, which was held in the highly armored premises of Automobili Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The production was entirely curated and organized by Free Event, which won the contract after winning the tender that involved some of the major Italian event agencies. An articulated and complex project, with important companies and international interlocutors that Free Event has supported and coordinated in the months preceding the event, taking care of the entire executive production of the show. In full compliance with the security measures identified by Automobili Lamborghini, for UEFA and FIGC, Free Event managed, among other things:

• audio, video and lighting setup

• stage set up

• technical crew coordination

• art direction and communication materials

• scenography

• Press Area (Media Room) and Interviews Area (Mixed Zone)

• Management of IT and signal needs

• Coordination with RAI for live TV

The event, conducted by Mia Ceran together with Andrea Pirlo and other important personalities of the football world, was broadcast live on the Rai Channels on November 23rd 2018. About 150 guests attended live the draw, which decreed the match schedule starting from June 2019.
