AIPS MEDIA AWARDS CEREMONY – DOHA
Andrea Camporesi CEO of Free Event (center) has brought to Doha, home of the upcoming World football Cup, the Italian excellence of event management.
The gala was hosted by the Italian journalist Valentina Clemente.
A wonderful open-air ceremony held at the Khalifa International Stadium under a full moon framing the Award Ceremony.
The football stadium was the selected as the location to celebrate a profession that stand for passion and dedication: sport.
After the last jury member voted on June the 11 the winners were finally unveiled.
The ceremony that followed marked the award physical comeback after the pandemic.
Free Event coordinated the award ceremony with a team tailor made for AIPS: live director Roberto Pagliani, project director Gloria Cova, Antonio di Pasquale for overall coordination, Gloria Maffina and Martina Brunelli for graphics and Francesca Del Vecchio for logistic coordination.
The gala overture was a very emotional moment. The international journalist Riccardo Romani who witness the Ukraine, Afghanistan and Iraq wars unfolded the powerful story/interview of the Ukraine journalist Vladislav Dunaienko. Riccardo presented one of his young journalists he met in November 2019 at the Young Reporters program in Lausanne who instead of dedicating his life to the profession of journalism chose to become a soldier and defend his country against the Russian invasion.
