After the success of the Italian press presentation of the new Compass 4xe, Free Event collaborates again with Jeep into the presentation of the plug-in hybrid variant of a true icon of the legendary American brand: the Wrangler 4xe.

In a breathtaking location, in the middle of the Piedmont mountains, Free Event has concentrated activities and installations around the Chaberton Lodge & Spa, a meeting point for the EMEA press, that in the Sauze d’Oulx woods, was able to test the new car on two routes specially made by the agency.

A lot of offroad, then, but not only: journalists arrived first in Turin, for a quick brief in the heart of the city, “Piazza Carlina” – actually Vittorio Emanuele 2, reachable by electric..? – then they tried the car on the highway until the arrival in Sauze d’Oulx. After a technical brief outdoor, European journalists were greeted by the magical beauty of the woods, venturing in dirt trails, with fords, side slopes and all-electric drift up to 2500 meters of Sportinia. An immersive experience that allowed a total contact with nature – thanks to the silence of the car – without polluting.

Wrangler is unique, it has no references,” says Antonella Bruno, head of the brand for EMEA, explaining that for the advanced off-road vehicle there are no sustainable market comparisons. “No peak is unreachable, no limit is insuperable because Wrangler is able to overcome any obstacle thanks to its technological solutions of reference and its true uniqueness. Even more adding the electrification to the consolidated values of the 4-wheel drive and the off-road”. That means, in fact, exploring the woods and having fun with the utmost respect for the environment.

Free Event, which got the project by winning a competition with some of the best Italian event agencies, took care of scouting the most suitable territory and location, the definition of all routes – plots on maps drawn up both in digital and on-site equipment – and agreements with the local administration and police. The agency has created the project site and all the dedicated equipment (badge with QR code, totem, Backdrop, signage, Mopar area in the beautiful panoramic terrace of the hotel with Crystal gazebo) and coordinated the support staff, which included several Marshall and drivers for the test drive part, in addition to the hotel’s reception staff.
