Never change a winning team: for the second year in a row, Ducati once again chose Free Event to organize the WPM 2019, the hospitality tour dedicated to the presidents of the Ducati World Clubs.
A ten-day tour between Emilia, Romagna and Tuscany, meticulously organized right down to the smallest detail by the event agency based in Milan and Faenza, to offer the prestigious guests – from 33 nations and 5 continents – a high quality hospitality tour experience.
Hotels, restaurants, activities including transfers, guest management, communication and set-ups: Free Event organized an exhilarating tour revealing the extraordinary beauty of the area, exploiting the natural environment and landscapes. Starting from Bologna, the birthplace of the brand, to a special stop-over at the Italian Grand Prix (with a splendid first and third place for Petrucci and Dovizioso in the Mugello GP), the tour then continued to the Chianti hills, the playground of Romagna and finally back to Bologna, to a closing party with an international touch. For the second year in a row, Free Event once again produces the event dedicated to the most avid fans of the Borgo Panigale brand.
“We are also making progress in the MICE industry, which has become increasingly important today” – says Andrea Camporesi, CEO of Free Event – “We have a dedicated business unit, which gets inspiration every day from all our other areas of expertise: organization of corporate events, shows, conventions and team building. The goal is to bring, also to the MICE industry, that touch of originality that has always distinguished and allowed us to become a point of reference in the events sector”.
With the WPM 2019, Free Event confirms the success of the format already carried out in the previous year, which ended with the participation of the entire DOC DUCATI group in the record-breaking WDW: 91 thousand attendees from 5 continents for the international meeting that every two years brings the community of the Borgo Panigale together.
The 2018 edition of the motorcycle rally involved and thrilled the thousands of Ducati fans coming from all over the world. The exuberant fans met at the “Marco Simoncelli” Misano World Circuit from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 July to celebrate and share their passion and enthusiasm for Ducati.
The renewed collaboration with Ducati marks a new important goal achieved by Free Event, leaders in the organization of events for the automotive sector (see an example case history here e here) continues to grow also in the motorcycle sector, with a brand that has been leading the world market since 1926.
