In the magnificent setting of Hotel Dino, on the shore of Lake Maggiore, FREE EVENT and BDO Italia realized OPEN | Move. Share. Grow: a sustainable, spectacular and content-rich event.
Three days – the result of more than 8 months of preparation – in which the company involved 1000 collaborators and employees, who arrived from all over Italy.
Sustainable logistics and taken care of down to the smallest detail by the dedicated Free Event team, which for BDO also took care of the organization of the materials dedicated to the 1000 guests and all the needs related to travel, accommodations, lunches and dinners, starting with an APP specially created and used by the guests in the previous months.
The content of the event was of a high level, with distinguished guests: from Federico Buffa, who with his usual magic told stories of entrepreneurship that changed the world, to Massimo Temporelli and Luca Mazzucchelli, who spoke respectively about technology/AI and personal growth. And then Federica Brignone, shared the path that led her to become the most successful Italian in skiing with the many fans in the room. Hosting, directly from the European Championships in Germany, was Federica Masolin, joined live by actress Claudia Barbieri, for the occasion in the guise of Claud_IA, Artificial Intelligence according to BDO.
The first evening ended with a live concert by one of Italy’s most successful singer-songwriters who entertained guests with Italian songs to English songs, conveying great emotion and internationality to the event.
Words, music, sharing, but also lots of sports and fun, with the second of the three days dedicated to widespread team building activities, including canoeing, climbing, volleyball and mind games.
For the last evening, a special dinner was organized with a transfer via lake to reach the picturesque Isola dei Pescatori, exclusively reserved for BDO, with typical local restaurants that created a culinary journey in a splendid atmosphere where the colors of the sunset drew a perfect picture with Isola Bella at the center.
The second part of the evening was a beach party, with music once again being the protagonist with the surprise at the console of music producer Don Joe, who boasts among his collaborations those with Jake La Furia, Guè Pequeno and Marracash.
“It was an event with big numbers: 1,000 guests, 8 Italian leaders in sports, music and culture, and a program spread over as many as 9 different locations. We are proud of the result, because we created an event that we like to call 1000×1000 sustainable. And we did it in a series of magical locations, with content that was written and thought out four-handedly with the client in the more than eight months of preparation of the project, and that was perfectly fitting with what they wanted to reach the audience. The artistic choices were of the highest quality – thanks in part to the sensitivity of our partner – and the sports activities were able to create the cohesion that was always one of the main goals of the event. Lastly, I am particularly satisfied with the team spirit that our team demonstrated at all times – an added value that has always distinguished us, also on this occasion greatly appreciated by BDO, which worked in a truly positive atmosphere throughout the year – and with the rigorous but flexible method that we were able to implement in all phases of the project.” Comments Andrea Camporesi, CEO and Creative Director of Free Event.
